"I believe that one of the most important skills we can develop in practice groups, if not in life, is self responsibility.  It supports our ability to both connect with the life in ourselves and in others.  I am also deeply committed to the practice of NVC from the consciousness in which we deeply hold the intention to connect to what is most alive both in ourselves and in others in a spirit of pure natural giving.  In the Self Responsible Practice Group materials I have attempted to support both the emergence of the consciousness AND the development of self responsibility in groups.

The Self Responsible Facilitator Guide

This guide is based on the assumption that some facilitators may be learning the material along with the rest of the group.  No prior understanding of the material or facilitator training is required to use this.  Individuals who want support for facilitation are invited to sign up for Linnaea's class (see link).  The guide includes instructions and helpful information to support facilitators through each lesson and through what to do when things don't go as planned.  This book covers an introduction to jackal and giraffe consciousnesses, the four components, an introduction to empathy and the beauty of needs.  This is book one in a three part series.  Each lesson is presented as a lesson plan with step by step instructions and timing for each part of the process.

The Self Responsible Participant Guide

This is the workbook for the practice group participants.  It includes the basic lessons covered in the part I Facilitator Guide and the written content material for each lesson.  Also included are helpful suggestion about what to do between practice group sessions to support learning and embodiment of the consciousness.
