Join CNVC Certified Trainer Eric Bowers in journeying through the world of Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB) as he expands on the theories and tools from his book Meet Me In Hard-to-Love Places: The Heart and Science of Relationship Success. You'll discover why IPNB and NVC complement each other so well, especially in the powerful practice of Somatic-Based Resonant Empathy.

Course materials will be shared through slides, images, stories, and demonstrations. You'll also be given tools and skills to practice in between classes, as well as material to explore, journal about, and reflect upon as you practice a wide variety of empathy skills and processes.

This course will provide you with ample groundwork, as well as many opportunities for learning to give empathy in ways that support both hemispheres of the brain and the embodied nervous system.


About Eric Bowers

A Certified Nonviolent Communication Trainer from Saltspring Island, British Columbia, Canada. Eric Bowers has extensive training in Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB) and Attachment Theory. He brings together NVC, IPNB and Attachment Theory in his courses, workshops, and private sessions.

Eric is passionate about depth work, about supporting people in learning / healing from past relationships and preparing for thriving relationships. Prior to his work as an NVC Trainer, Eric worked as a Children-Who-Witness-Abuse Counselor and an expedition river guide and white water kayaker in British Columbia, the Yukon and Alaska.
