Does your inner dialogue sound supportive and encouraging - or more like you're being yelled at by a critical task-master?

You might expect to hear harsh comments from a co-worker, a parent or a partner, but when they come from within they can be particularly unsettling. And to make it even more complicated – somewhere you know this inner critical voice actually cares about you and is trying to offer useful information!

You aren't broken, both you and this critical inner voice want to learn, to grow, to change… and you can.

To enhance your listening skills and understanding of this voice, we invite you to join us for: Your Resonant Self: Transforming the Critical Inner Voice with Sarah Peyton.

You will gain an understanding of the neuroscience of the left and right hemispheres of the human brain and locate just where this savage inner voice is coming from and how to respond to it with empathy.

Some of what you can expect:

You will learn to connect to the deep longings and values that lie within your speech and which common habits of speech create disconnection. Also you can expect to gain an understanding of the relationship between your body sensations, your emotions (feelings) and your needs.

This 6-week course will illustrate how NVC's self-empathy can be expanded to support deep, transformational change. It is based on Sarah Peyton's upcoming book Your Resonant Self: Guided meditations and exercises to engage your brain's capacity for healing.
