Passive, Aggressive and Assertive Communication at Work

This session is for people who want to communicate assertively and empathically at work. We will examine how our communication styles reveal our relationship to power and how these power dynamics contribute to common workplace dysfunctions such as micromanagement, passive aggressiveness, resistance to change and lack of inclusion.

With the help of Nonviolent Communication, we will practice expressing ourselves assertively using ā€œIā€ statements and Needs language, while being mindful of our body language and tone of voice. (Level: Beginner. All levels welcome.)
