Do you want to find ways of conveying to others the beauty you see in the practice of NVC?

Would you like to have tools for planning effective introductions for a variety of audiences?

As leaders, and in our lives, empathy is one of the most powerful skills to enhance our effectiveness through creating and sustaining connections, navigating challenging moments, supporting others in growing and healing, and deepening our own connection with ourselves through opening our hearts to others. This telecourse supports new and experienced NVC trainers and facilitators in deepening empathy skills and bringing more choice and capacity to all your interactions. The course includes theoretical understanding, experiential integration, and practical tools for strengthening your empathic presence and skills.

In this class you’ll learn skills and practices to:

  • Discern specific purposes and needs for use of empathy (e.g. understanding, healing, presence, clarity)
  • Empathize with what the person wants, the pure need, rather than met or unmet need
  • Choose consciously whether to follow or to lead, and for what purpose
  • Maintain relaxed empathic stance in the face of intensity, repetition, or challenge
