More and more therapists are attracted to the principles of Nonviolent Communication and to its invitation to enter a genuine, human relationship with clients. Would you like to participate in a community of therapists seeking to practice and learn intensively together how to bring NVC most effectively to their practice and personal lives?
The program consists of the following four components:1. Monthly Teleclass Supervision Group:The core of the program is the monthly supervision group. Each month will provide an opportunity for up to 3 people to present a case study for discussion by all program participants. Trainers will offer support in application of NVC principles and consciousness to the cases, and the entire group will be involved in exploring the dilemmas and issues presented by the cases. Dates for the first quarter: The First Quarter Classes are complete. All are welcome to register for future quarters whether they attended the first quarter sessions or not. As an individual call, this is an opportunity for you to receive advanced coaching from a therapist and NVC trainer who is deeply committed to and experienced in using NVC in this way. Cost: $400 for the year ($100 for each call). 3. Monthly Coaching Calls with Program AssistantsIn addition to the Quarterly Coaching Calls with Co-trainer Roxy Manning, the program also includes Monthly Coaching Calls with Program Assistants. More Details About the Open-Hearted Therapy Year-Long ProgramThe program is designed to be a year-long program, and can only be joined at the beginning of the year. The focus is exclusively on the clinical practice of working with individuals, couples, or small groups, with the primary intention to provide healing. It’s not designed for people who primarily want to share NVC with others. The intended audience is therapists (licensed or not) who are working with individuals and who are actively working to integrate NVC into their own lives as well as into their therapy practice. Prerequisites: This class is open to everyone who wants to attend, but will not cover the basics of Nonviolent Communication. Most suitable for people with at least a few months of ongoing NVC practice. To learn the basics in preparation for the class, you can take the NVC Academy Foundations of NVC or read the first 8 chapters of Marshall B. Rosenberg's book, Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life.
